Preschool Enrichment Program
MoEd Fairfax is an outstanding Hebrew language enrichment experience for preschool children ages 2-5.
Our new program has been designed specifically for preschoolers and is directed by an Early Childhood Professional with over 35 years of ECE experience.
Research shows learning a second language boosts problem-solving, critical thinking, and listening skills. For the kids, they just know it’s fun at MoEd!
Our teachers are native Hebrew speakers from Israel who share their language and culture with our children.
Together, our team provides a warm, loving, and exciting community that immerses children in Hebrew, Israel, and Jewish traditions while laying the foundation for a lifelong joy of learning.
A perfect complement to preschool, each day at MoEd is unique and child-centered.
For students enrolled at Olam Tikvah Preschool, we provide a seamless transition between school and MoEd.
For those who are enrolled at other preschools, our relaxed free play period makes their arrival and transition a breeze. In addition, each class includes circle time, group activities and playground time. A healthy Kosher snack is served each day.
Our curriculum weaves Hebrew language and Judaism with a variety of engaging, developmentally age appropriate experiences in cooking, science, art, drama, movement, games and so much more.
Our friendly and stimulating environment enables all of our children to feel comfortable, express themselves openly and become valued members of the MoEd community. Preschoolers love MoEd and often don’t want to leave!
School aged Enrichment Program
The core of the MoEd program is focused on the school aged child. Our flagship program in Chevy Chase has been serving the K-8 school community for over 10 years. It is where we shine! Our halls are filled with laughter and Hebrew language.
Many of our kids continue with MoEd into their High School years as counselors and staff for the younger children. We are excited to bring this tried and true enrichment program to Fairfax in the form of enrichment classes.
MoEd is a wonderful supplement to religious school or Jewish day school. However, we are a different kind of program. We integrate fun, engaging activities such as cooking, music, art, science games and sports with immersive Hebrew language and Jewish culture. Think Jewish Summer camp all year round!
Our all Israeli staff members are enthusiastic and trained to make classes fun, enriching and educational. Every class is unique and varied to include activities the kids love. MoEd gives children an opportunity to bond with their peers while developing a strong sense of pride and identity for Israel and making Judaism their own.
Class meets on Thursdays from 5-6 pm at Congregation Olam Tikvah.
