MoEd activities

MoEd means “the special time” in Hebrew. MoEd is…
  • a new Jewish educational after-school program for children in grades K-5 who live in close-in Montgomery County and nearby Washington, DC.
  • a fun and engaging program of Jewish learning, with an emphasis on immersive Hebrew language learning, combined with high-quality childcare, operating after school until 6:30 pm.
  • an easy way for busy families to introduce their children to Jewish learning or to enhance the education their children receive through synagogue or day schools.
  • building a community of children, families, and teachers and strengthening ties to synagogues, schools, and other Jewish institutions in the DC area.
